Christopherson Builders and United Policyholders

We are happy to announce that Christopherson Builders has joined the United Policyholders family, in order to serve as a resource to homeowners who have found themselves facing the path of disaster recovery.  United Policyholders (UP) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to “be a trustworthy and useful information resource and a respected voice for consumers of all types of insurance in all 50 states”.  UP offers advice, guidance, and advocacy to those in need of assistance.

California and many other states continue to be plagued by wildfire events.  Here in our backyard in Sonoma County, many homeowners are just beginning the process of rebuilding property, homes, and structures damaged or destroyed by the Walbridge, Myers, and Glass Fires of 2020.   Christopherson Builders has rebuilt many of the homes lost, and continues to do so in Santa Rosa, Healdsburg, St. Helena, Napa, Vacaville, and Winters – areas swept by the Tubbs, Kincaide, Atlas, and LNU fire events.

In response to the increasing emergencies across our State and as we have learned how to navigate the complicated rebuilding process, Christopherson Builders is taking steps toward increasing our ability to help families across more Northern California areas that have been impacted by wildfire disaster.  We are increasing our range to be able to assist in rebuilding efforts in El Dorado, Amador, and Alpine Counties (Caldor fire) which damaged much of the Sierra Nevada near Tahoe, in Butte County (Camp fire) that devastated the town of Paradise, as well as in Santa Cruz County (CZU fire) which damaged many areas such as Boulder Creek, Redwood Grove, and Ben Lomond.

We are in the process of expanding a line of pre-designed homes to streamline fire rebuilds with greater efficiency and lower costs.  In addition to streamlining home rebuilds from our pre-engineered plans, we will continue to offer our clients the option to create a custom home, should the homeowner prefer a unique design, or should the lay of the land simply need a plan specifically tailored to suit.

Further, Christopherson Builders is proudly sponsoring the upcoming “Up to Good” Fundraiser this September at the beautiful Buena Vista winery in Sonoma.  Representatives of our company will be in attendance at the event, and we will be happy to answer any questions about our processes or offerings.  Support this great event by joining us for an evening of wine tasting, delicious food, silent auction fun, and great company!
