A new 2-story home plan with a design veering toward the traditional, this home provides a lot of well-thought-out space in a small footprint, perfect for lots with a smaller buildable area, also known as the building envelope.

There are several ways to customize this style of this home, inside and out.  The rendering shown here is a Craftsman elevation, but as with all of our plans, the exterior can easily be made to be Spanish, Modern, Contemporary, Farmhouse – you name it.  One of the most fundamental ways that this plan may be modified is with the option to enlarge the Primary Suite found on the main level.  If you need more bedrooms, a 5th bedroom may be added up at the top of the stair in lieu of the loft.  You may also choose to add a covered patio off of the great room in the back yard,  if you’d like and have the room for a comfortable covered outdoor living area.

One of our favorite elements of this plan is the soaring, open ceiling over the great room, which provides the perception of greater depth and living space.  Design elements such as these maximize the overall dimension of a home, ultimately making a more modestly sized home live and feel much larger and lighter.  We think this new 2-story home plan checks all the boxes.
