If you enjoy a good covered porch and lanai, this could be the plan for you.  This welcoming home design places an emphasis on indoor/outdoor living.  The kitchen windows face toward the front, as you will often see in cottage style homes.  Sliding doors open from the great room onto the rear covered lanai.  The roofline adds interest and is reminiscent of the tropical plantation style.
