Expanding on our original plan 21, this single level home design is an enlarged version of the original that both increases the interior and livable exterior square footage and adds a half bath.
Suitable for a narrower lot or linear building area, the width of this home is just under 54′, but opens up dramatically following the hall foyer entry into a broad, open great room. The great room features lofty 12′ ceilings and multi-slide glass doors that open onto a covered loggia. The extended rear roofline that covers the loggia adds a comfortable covered outdoor living space, with the option to add an outdoor kitchen.
The kitchen is quite spacious, with cabinetry that extends along the length of the wall into the dining area. We’ve added a little wine fridge and bar sink next to the dining area, creating a great place for a bar or breakfast zone. Just behind the considerably sized kitchen with corner walk-in pantry, there a tidy home office hub. However, said hub could be built as a second large pantry instead.
