Chris Lomeli is one of our newest team members, and we’re so excited he came aboard! Chris has been our Assistant Construction Manager for just three months but in that short time, he’s already become indispensable.
As the Assistant Construction Manager, Chris interfaces between the office and contractors. He’s involved in all steps of planning our new homes, including scheduling all the work and verifying work to completion. Chris enjoys being involved with the new construction from the fire rebuilding, as well as learning more about the new Sonoma County building codes.
Chris came to us because he was looking for a position that would allow him to move up in the construction world and broaden his knowledge. He’s held different types of positions in various industries, but construction has proven to be the most personally rewarding because it allows him to integrate his many interests. Plus, both his father and grandfather worked in construction, so you could say that it’s in his blood!
Chris is truly a Jack of all trades, particularly when it comes to creative pursuits. He has personal and professional experience in photography, videography, and computer programming. His educational background is in various types of design, including interior design, architectural design, and graphic design. Prior to working at Christopherson, Chris held numerous positions where he wore many hats, so he’s a pro at multi-tasking and staying organized. One of his favorite previous positions involved managing camera crews as the Video Production Manager at the School of Rock in Santa Rosa.
Chris grew up in Sonoma County and attended high school in Petaluma. As an adult, he’s lived all over our beautiful state, but returned to Sonoma County three years ago. He enjoys being back, but he admits he’s more of a cold-weather guy who enjoys the snow – and snowboarding in particular. His dream is to one day move to a colder climate – but lucky for us, not any time in the near future!
Thank you, Chris, for being a valuable member of our team. We’re happy to have you!
