Our roots run deep in Sonoma County, and we’re committed to rebuilding better than ever. Every member of our team is driven by the same core values that have always been associated with the Christopherson name.
Most of our local team has been working together for 20 years developing and building new homes.
The Christopherson Builders Team is comprised of a dedicated, experienced group of full-time engineers, purchasing and construction managers, construction personnel, design professionals, and an exceptionally knowledgeable finance and administrative team eager to assist and support efforts to bring clients their dream homes. Our teamwork and all-inclusive project management guarantees a personal, interactive experience.
Nothing replaces local knowledge and experience in development and construction.
Their patience with transforming my thoughts on the rebuild to architectural and engineered renderings, to the extraordinarily well versed staff of their in-house design center, to the time they dedicated in explanation of their contractual and accounting components, to the constant updates from on-site personnel only underscored their dedication and integrity….They have become the life ring in a sea of chaos.Jim Vannucci, homeowner
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Keith began his career in Real Estate and Construction in the 1970s as an apprentice carpenter. In 1978 he co-founded Christopherson Construction with his wife, Brenda, which evolved into Christopherson Homes several years later.
During Christopherson Homes early days Keith ran a home-framing crew of roughly 80 carpenters and laborers, framing homes for other Builders and Developers, and was building small developments and building on scattered lots. By 1990 Christopherson Homes was being recognized as a leading builder in the Santa Rosa area, having completed several developments and earning a growing brand based on honesty, quality, great architecture, leading a quality team, and providing value for its shareholders and investors.
Over the following years Christopherson Homes successfully built thousands of homes in more than 60 developments in Sonoma, Marin, Napa, Solano, Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, and Glenn Counties, through two Operating Divisions, one located in Santa Rosa and the other in Roseville.
Some highlights of awards and recognition Christopherson Homes received over the years:

- Received the JD Power Award in 2004 for best among Bay Area Homebuilders and ranked third in the United States in Customer Satisfaction.
- Christopherson Homes was rewarded the North Bay Area’s “Best Builder Award” for many successive years which is voted upon by readers of Sonoma Biz Magazine.
- Christopherson Homes built a home for Habitat for Humanity in 2006 in two days.
- Brenda and Keith were inducted into the California Building Industry Foundation’s
Hall of Fame in 2006.

Operations Executive Assistant
Kp has worked with us in different companies and capacities since 1993. That’s 25 years with Christopherson!
When she first started, she worked to establish budgets for the sales and marketing departments. Over the last two and half decades, the business and her role has evolved. Now, she is often the first point of contact for new clients. When people call in to rebuild their home, sell their lot, or buy a spec home, Kp is the main point of contact. She does research on the client, such as looking at their lot and any drawbacks to building. As Brenda Christopherson’s right-hand employee, she gathers the information needed for Brenda to meet with new clients one-on-one. Kp assists Brenda with various projects depending on the day, including marketing, working with architects, contacting media outlets, and more.
